The hospitality industry captivates with its diversity, international environment, and exciting career opportunities. With the new continuing education course «The Fascination of Hospitality», Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, in collaboration with SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern and the Hotel & Gastro Union, offers a practical introduction to the world of accommodation and hospitality.

The course is aimed at anyone seeking a solid insight into the hospitality industry and wishing to prepare specifically for a career in hotels, tourism, or gastronomy. In a compact format, participants acquire valuable knowledge about hotel management, positioning, marketing, and economic success in the hospitality sector.

The course is taught in German.

Course Overview

  • Target group: Career changers from upper and middle management who aspire to enter the hospitality industry or who have recently transitioned into the sector.
  • Duration: 5 modules, each lasting 1.5 days (Friday to Saturday afternoon)
